The Otter Woman- Old English Version

Post  Cutezee_Penguin on Wed Sep 12, 2012 5:32 pm

One day I got inspiration to write a PoM scene in old English just to see how it would be and well... I find the results quite funny. Here's the part where the penguins first meet "Arlene."

Marlene: "Good day, my Lords!"
*Penguins look at Marlene*
Kowalski: "Orbs of great fire!"
Marlene: "I bid you! I know not of thee!"
Skipper: "Greetings! Beauteous are thee...thou art very pretty...Uhh...Wherefore needest it thou? .... *looks at Kowalski* Sir Kowalski, what say you?"
Kowalski: "By my troth! Henceforth thee dwelling midst a mistress!"
Marlene: "I know not that name!"
Kowalski: "Tis most slendid of oppourtunities, dost thee whence of wisdom before shall canst a goodly length in thee past of times!"
Marlene: "Wilt thou speak of thee? I trow not!"
Kowalski: "Mistress fare thee in thou tongue of flibbbergim!"
Marlene: "Thee speak of nonsense, good sir-"
Kowalski: "Incredulous!"
Marlene: "Naught thee! My name be thou- *Kowalski grabs her tongue* MMarr-lenne!"
Skipper,Private and Rico: "Arlene!"
Skipper: "Ye art hath thee hearts of noble men!"
Marlene: "My..lord?"
Skipper: "My lady said thee!"

I get the feeling Private would love to see the others do an act like this. xD

*laughs crazily*

Oh that's great. I love it. And I agree; Private would love to see them do an act like that. Hmmm.... I wonder how it would be with Julien? What would that be like?

Thank you so much! Very Happy

Either Julien would still talk like he does now and would be like why is everyone talking like this or he would also be talking old English, but it would be like "Thou booty!" xD

I can imagine that. Julien saying something like "Thou booty must be shake'd!". xD

Not a bad idea, Panda! Laughing And Julien and Marlene could be doing some awkward renaissance dance! xD Like when they put paw to paw in mid air and dance in circles. LOL! Now I got this funny scene playing out in my head.

I remember reading this in Fanpop and laughing my head off there. That isn't too different here either XD An Old English version of the Reverse World would be hilariously ridiculous. Go ahead if you want to Very Happy

Old English (Kind of) Reversed World

Post  Cutezee_Penguin on Mon Jan 28, 2013 4:37 am

(Here it is--The reversed world in Old English. Well, it might not be perfect Old English, maybe has a few mix ups, but tell me if you guys like it or not. I'll do some more if it's a go! ;D)

Private: Sir! Sir! Hark now, what thee discover in thy park!

Skipper: What thou speak of?

Private: Alas! A mirror! *holds up mirror*

Skipper: Is it even so? Whither thou found it?

Private: Yonder tree, in tis park!

Kowalski: I beseech thee--share how thee found comely mirror?

Krystal: Tis a fie!

*the lemurs jump from nowhere with Marlene*

Marlene: Good marrow, I cry your mercy! Betimes thee king prating with ye companions--

Julien: Now, by my faith! A mirror shall reflect thee fullsome appearance!

Skipper: RINGTAIL! Pray tell why art thee tallt in thy home?

Julien: Admiring one selves, aye.

Just then the reflection of himself yelled at him:

"Pray pardon me! Tis you're Majesty, sire!"

Julien jumped back in shock, giving a short scream before fainting.

Skipper: What say you, Kowalski?!?

But Kowalski had large eyes shocked at what he was seeing.

Krystal: My Lord, but what forswear is this?!?

Kowalski: Wizardry! By my troth, tis hither an evil entity!

Skipper: In good sooth, sir Kowalski! Stand noble, my men! Prepare thee selves!

The mirror then started to glow, brighter and brighter it became until the light became so bright, Rico had to throw up two pairs of sunglasses for everyone.

Skipper: Sir Kowalski!?!?!
Kowalski: *screaming like a girl*

But before, Kowalski could say anything, everybody was sucked into the dangerously bright light before any one could act.

Skipper: *blinking* Now. BY MY FAITH! Where art thee?

Private: Lunacorn Kingdom!

Skipper: Nay, tis not thy place for prancing prided ponies! Thither's sinister feel across thy body...

Kowalski: Enow!!! Magic nor pony breath life verily as thee!

Krystal: *after a quick look around* Why, tis merly an old foe's lair!

Kowalski: Merly? Have not thy fair maiden see thou dangers? Tis Professor Blowhole's cave!

Skipper: Indeed. My nemesis hath many names.....

(I hope you guys don't mind how much it changed. xD Kowalski's so freaked out over Professor Blowhole.)
